Production techniques

Always a processing method to meet your needs

Thermoplastics can be processed using a number of different techniques. We specialise in three variants: high-pressure injection moulding, structural foam moulding and sequential injection moulding.

Advantages of thermoplastics

  • Lightweight
  • Considerable freedom regarding choice of form
  • Also suitable for outdoor use

What types of plastic do we process? Examples of standard plastics:

  • Polystyrene (PS)
  • Polypropylene (PP)
  • Polyethylene (PE)

Examples of engineering plastics:

  • Polycarbonate blends (PC blends)
  • ABS
  • Polyamide (PA/nylon)
  • Polypropylene compounds (e.g. glass-fibre-reinforced PP)

We will be happy to help you decide on the most suitable material for your particular application.

Assembly and fitting

Besides manufacturing plastic components, we can also assemble these semi-finished articles to create complete finished products. For this activity we have access to our own assembly department, where we can ultrasonically weld, glue or fit your components, for example.

Packaging

If required, we can also supply the (foam) packaging for your products via our sister company HSV Moulded Foams.
